A few days
ago Padmini
gave me the
sad news
about
Jagtial
mama. You
know, death
is
inevitable
for all of
us, but the
passing away
of some
kindles
indifference,
of others
relief, and
of the rest
a keen sense
of loss. I
feel
something
has been
taken away
from me with
the passing
of Jagtial
mama.
Although I
have had
very little
contact with
mama for
over forty
years, my
memories of
him before I
turned
twenty are
still fresh
and very
pleasant. I
will always
remember him
as a truly
kind,
affectionate
and gentle
mama with
never a
cross word.
I wish I had
taken the
time to say
these and
other things
to him
during his
lifetime.
Please tell
Nirmala
akkaya,
Swarupa
akkaya,
Prabhakar,
Vaman, and
all the
others that
I am
thinking of
them and
share their
grief with
the hope
that time
will quickly
heal the
pain.

I am sorry
to hear
the sad
news. I
liked
mamaya very
much,
this is
indeed a
great loss
for all of
us. My
only
regret is
that I did
not spend
more time
with
him during Nikhilesh's
reception
in
Hyderabad.
I can
still see
him with
his naughty
smile and
holding our
hands with
all his
warmth.
He has
been a
rock for
the family
and a
great role
model for
all of us
- especially after
all that
he went
thru in
his life.

my
heart-felt
sympathies
and condolences
to the
family -
it is a
time for
all of
us to
reflect on
his life
and indeed
celebrate
his life.

away. He

a person,
I am glad
I got to
see him
during
Nikhilesh's
parties.
